I work with light
I'm a lighting technician (gaffer), videomaker, and photographer based between Milan and its surroundings.
Most of my work happens on advertising, fashion, and lookbook sets, where my job is figuring out how to turn an idea into light that actually holds up on camera; whether that's a studio setup or something built on location.

Photography has actually been part of my life since I was a kid, long before it became work, and the lighting side grew naturally out of that. I have a degree in cinema from Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, but most of what I know about lighting and shooting, I built on set, job after job. Shooting both digital and film taught me things lighting alone couldn't, and the two still feed into each other more than people expect: knowing how to light a set makes you a better photographer, and shooting your own work makes you a better gaffer.

I don't stop at the shoot. I follow things through post-production too: color in DaVinci Resolve, RAW development and retouching in Lightroom and Photoshop, sometimes all the way to a small editorial layout. I like seeing an image through, start to finish, rather than handing it off halfway.

What I know, I've built through a mix of formal training and plain curiosity.  always asking why something works before I'm satisfied I actually know how to do it. That's still how I approach every job, big or small
